Good morning, sunshine I feel your warmth embracing me Unfreezing this heart No longer the jaded fist Though highs can be temporary True love has got no expiry Experience will teach what teachers can’t reach Fear is a fortress we all must breach // Try as you may but your money can’t buy love // Some souls can be disheartening Some hearts can be cruel as the sea They swallow you whole and leave no remains to see But hope is overwhelming These chains on my hands are tambourines I’m down on the ground but I’ve fallen proud It’s not love when you refuse to give // Try as you may but your money can’t buy love // // Learn to let go when you’re about to fall //

Illusion 03:18
You wonder why she’s so tough A punishment you can’t get enough And you’re fading, you’re not yourself Her heart is a shotgun, her words are the shells She hates you but you can’t tell The reason why she’s so upset But you love her and she can see Perhaps why she’s playing so hard to get Why does she bring you to your knees? Your heart in her hand gently squeezed It’s a mix of illusion To love what we can’t have ’Til it breaks us down Mix of illusion To love what we can’t have This thing was over before it began The biggest bluff you pulled off was Letting me hold your hand Maybe I was too kind Or I was too shy I couldn’t tell then But in hindsight It seemed that you just couldn’t decide, decide Why do you bring me to my knees? My heart in your hand gently squeezed It’s a mix of illusion To love what we can’t have ’Til it breaks us down Mix of illusion To love what we can’t have // Woah // It’s a mix of illusion To love what we can’t have ’Til it breaks us down Mix of illusion To love what we can’t have

Waiting 04:10
Confidence, I’m losing my confidence I’m waiting for someone I don’t know Until you show How will I still learn how to recognize You among these many eyes? I guess, I’ll know by then Waiting for you I’m waiting for you now Waiting for you Do you feel the same way? Is it real? The questions keep coming back, never gone 'Til I know you’re the one We should stay Let silence come into play It’s a thrill to be caught between these days While the truth awaits Waiting for you I’m waiting for you now Waiting for you I hope you don’t get lost somehow I’m waiting for the day That you will find your way Back here tonight I’ve been thinking about Where or when or why or how Back here tonight I’ve been thinking again Back here tonight Am I alone again? Should I waste my time just thinking? Guess it’s how you play your hand Waiting for you I’m waiting for you now Waiting for you

Take this heart and light it up Let it fly and float across this town We’ll watch them burn From black to gold Fill the skies with fire Let your spirit glow Such a beautiful scene We’re a beautiful show We’re broken hearts Off-course Longing for something more Take these dreams And turn them true Launch them from the ground up Galaxies for a roof We’ll watch them burn From black to gold Leave the past behind Let the whole world know Such a beautiful scene We’re a beautiful show We’re broken hearts Off-course Longing for something more Such a beautiful scene We’re a beautiful show Wounds and scars Love restores We’ll glow // Woah // Such a beautiful scene We’re a beautiful show Such a heavenly dream You’re a beautiful soul You’re so beautiful // Woah // We’re broken hearts Off-course Longing for something more Wounds and scars Love restores We’ll glow

You 05:07
I can’t let my feelings take me To live in places I once feared Coz fear can only push me farther Away from all I used to be It’s been awhile I tried to talk to you I admit I sometimes I hear you speak The more I tend to walk away from truth The better these lies appeal I know you have a bigger dream for me But I’ve forgotten just how to sleep Guilt inside this mind can kill a dream But I’m learning now to forgive myself You All I need is you I can’t see myself going my own way I can’t let fantasy fool me And blind me from what is real Life is more than granted wishes It’s more than just how you feel I know you have a bigger dream for me But I’ve forgotten just how to sleep Guilt inside this mind can kill a dream But I’m learning now to forgive myself You All I need is you I can’t see myself going my own way If I’m not with you All I need is you I’d rather be alone than be with someone else You All I need is you I’d rather be alone than be with someone else I can’t let fantasy fool me And blind me from what is real
